old goals are new again

So my goal was to lose 10 pounds by my birthday. I've managed to gain two. New goal: lose 12 pounds by my birthday. This is it folks. I'll be damned if those Oreos that Luke insists he "needs" in order to stay on track for his weightloss are going to siderail my goals. No funeral, vacation, or glass(es) of wine will stand in my way this time. Spring has sprung and now Padre and I are running off our last 10 (or 12) pounds before summer. We managed a 9pm run tonight in the drizzle. Tomorrow's goal: lots of water, healthy eating (no soda or sweets) and kickboxing class.

My inspiration:

  • being a healthy mommy and good example for E
  • being a healthy partner for L
  • making my dad proud (even still)
  • new summer clothes
  • feeling great physically and mentally

UPDATE: kickboxing teacher quit. Boo - I really liked that one. So I didn't have class, but still worked out on the machines for about 30 minutes. Hopefully there will be a new class soon!
